TTi requires a $100 non-refundable deposit for all "Special Orders" prior to the start of the coating process.

The balance will be due upon completion of your order.

Please allow additional time for the coating process (3-4 weeks).

HEADER CERAMIC COATING OPTIONS

C0 - "Raw" Not Coated

C1 - Nickel Chrome Plated “outside only”

C2 - Ceramic Coated “outside only”

 

C3 - Polished Ceramic Coated “outside only”
C4 - Ceramic Coated with Thermal Barrier

Polished Ceramic

C3 - outside only
C5 - with a Thermal Barrier

 

A silver finish applied to the steel surface to protect against rust and corrosion, extending part life.  The polishing procedure is a bead blasting process done to the ceramic coated finish to give the appealing High-Luster look which will not discolor or blue under normal conditions.

Withstands temperatures up to 1200°F, reduces underhood temperatures and has an easy to clean surface.

Ceramic Coated

C2 - outside only
C4 - with a Thermal Barrier
 

A silver matte finish applied to the steel surface to protect against rust and corrosion, extending part life. Withstands temperatures up to 1200°F, reduces underhood temperatures and will not discolor or blue under normal conditions.

Nickel Chrome Plate

C1 - outside only

 

A bright and shiny decorative chrome finish.  Exhaust components which are chrome plated are much more susceptible to blueing, blistering, peeling and corrosion.  This process does not carry any warranty other than to be free from defects at the time of purchase prior to installation only.

"Raw" Mild Steel

C0 - Not coated

 

Headers purchased “Raw” carries no warranty for finish other than to be free from defects at the time of purchase prior to installation only.  Under no circumstance will TTi replace, repair or refund headers purchased “Raw”.
Mild steel is susceptible to rust.

Thermal Barrier may be black or brownish-green in color.

Thermal Barrier

A protective inside coating which increases part longevity, reduces engine compartment temperatures by approximately 50 degrees and protects component parts from thermal fatigue.
