Flanges:  3/8" thick, laser-cut, contoured for a leak free fit

For those of you who cherish the old poly head engines, TTi offers a header for your wide block, old style 318 poly.

1964 Plymouth Belvedere

Material:  Constructed of 16 gauge mild steel tubing.  Mandrel bent on sophisticated computer controlled bending machines for precise fit and uninterrupted exhaust flow. The mandrel bending process maintains a constant inside diameter of the tube for a smoother finish with no restriction of flow and no crimping of the tubes.

Under chassis design:  Above the steering center link design offers maximum header to ground clearance

Recommended for:  320-550 horsepower range

Header set includes:  Header & collector gaskets, header bolts, oil filter adapter w/ 90 swivel fittings, and header reducer adapters.

DIY modification will be required to the engine mounts if the stock pitman arm or idler arm interferes with the header tube.  [Modification illustration, sheet 704 .pdf]

Headers will not clear Firm Feel fast ratio pitman & idler arm.  The Firm Feel arm is 3/4" longer than the stock arm.  (The OEM arm measures 5-1/4" from center to center)

Our headers were designed to fit with the engines located to the factory specifications.  If the engine is not located correctly in the chassis, the headers will not fit properly.  We strongly suggest you check your engine location prior to installation.

Due to various manufacturing designs, aftermarket parts, engine configurations, suspension combinations, etc... TTi cannot ensure headers and exhaust systems to fit all combinations.  However, we have done our best to accommodate both factory and aftermarket component combinations.  In some cases, slight modification or repositioning may be required on your part to clear the specific situation.

318 POLY HEADER GASKETS

HTX-900 gasket material:  A high density non-asbestos fiber metal core composite consisting of graphite coated, hi-temperature facing material chemically and mechanically fused to an expanded steel core.

A proven hi-performance exhaust gasket composite used extensively within the automotive racing industry, where characteristics such as structural strength and hi-temp load retention are required to withstand severe under-the-hood operating environments.

(!) Use a very thin layer of Hi-temp silicone sealer on each side of gasket.  [Recommendation:  Permatex 81160 .jpg]
