HEADER FITMENT • Our headers were designed to fit with the engines located to the factory specifications.  If the engine is not located correctly in the chassis, the headers will not fit properly.  We strongly suggest you check your engine location prior to installation.  (Click here for the factory dimensions) • Due to various manufacturing designs, aftermarket parts, engine configurations, suspension combinations, etc... TTi cannot ensure headers and exhaust systems to fit all combinations.  However, we have done our best to accommodate both factory and aftermarket component combinations.  In some cases, slight modification or repositioning may be required on your part to clear the specific situation.

1.  PLATFORM:	66-76 B-BODY, 70-74 E-BODY
2.  ENGINES:	383-400 B-ENGINES
3.  CYLINDER HEADS:	OEM or EQUIVALENT - FACTORY 915, 906, 452, BULLDOG, EDELBROCK E-STREET, EDELBROCK PERFORMER RPM, INDY-EZ, STAGE 5, TRICK FLOW, 440-SOURCE • Cylinder Head Studs:  Head studs may be used on the Passenger-side, however, on the Drivers-side the header tubes will not clear the cylinder head studs below the #3, #5 and #7 cylinders.  We recommend ARP bolts for clearance in these areas.
4.  SPARK PLUGS:	STRAIGHT or ANGLED
5.  FRONT SUSPENSION:	OEM or EQUIVALENT with torsion bars COILOVER without torsion bars:  The following coilover systems have been fit-checked with these headers and found there to be no clearance issues...  RMS Alterktion, Magnumforce Tubular, Magnumforce Modular Transformer, Control Freak • Steering Linkage:  OEM with torsion bars or Rack & Pinion without torsion bars. • UniSteer Performance Rack and Pinion:  This header will clear without any clearance issues.
6.  ENGINE MOUNTS:	OEM • Headers fit with Schumacher Creative Services engine mounts or equivalent.
7.  AUTO TRANS:	YES  • Floor Shift:  Some applications may require the adjustable swivel & the lower rod to be re-positioned to clear the header collector.  (See illustration sheet #3703)
8.  STANDARD TRANS:	YES • Flywheel:  Applications with an 11" flywheel, 143-tooth ring gear must use a RobbMc Performance starter #3005. • Keisler Tremec TKO-500/600 Transmission:  Correct installation is imperative.  The output-end of the tail shaft must be in exactly the same position as the stock transmission output shaft for the headers to fit properly.
9.  FLOOR SHIFT:	YES • Auto Trans:  Some applications may require the adjustable swivel & the lower rod to be re-positioned to clear the header collector.  (See illustration sheet #3703)
10.  COLUMN SHIFT:	YES • 71-74 B-body & 70-74 E-body applications may require a modified Torque Shaft Assembly.  Torque Shaft Assembly sold separately #B7174TSA
11.  PUSH BUTTON:	YES
12.  STEERING:	YES, POWER-STEERING or MANUAL STEERING • QUICK/FAST RATIO PITMAN & IDLER ARMS:  This header will not clear the pitman & idler arm that is longer than the OEM arms.  Example; The Quick/Fast Ratio Pitman & Idler arms by Firm Feel, Inc. are 3/4" longer then stock.  DIY clearance can be achieved by dimpling the header tube(s), however, doing this modification will void your header and coating warranty.
13. AIR CONDITIONING:	YES
14.  STARTERS:	THE FOLLOWING STARTERS HAVE BEEN FIT-CHECKED WITH THESE HEADERS AND FOUND THERE TO BE NO CLEARANCE ISSUES... 15.  BELL HOUSING:	• Lakewood Bellhousing scatter shield:  Modification is required to the passenger-side bell-housing.  A half moon shaped notch will need to be ground down approximately 1/4" deep to clear the header tube.
